Evaluation Ident

Evaluation
My initial idea for my ident was having a boxing match and I chose a boxing match because everyone loves boxing because it is exciting and I use a boxing match because it grabs the attention of the audience and this means that after the ident the audience will keep watching to the next series that E4 display.
The obstacles that I faces were very difficult because I didn’t not have a tripod to have a stable recording so what I had to do is use free hand and his means that I had to keep my hand extremely still so that the animation runs smoothly .At one point in the production process I had problems with lighting and I tried to find many solutions such as turning on the light but this still did not work so that that meant that I had to turn off the light and then I turned on a light in the background so that my shadow would not show in the animation.
The other problem was that while recording I had problems with keeping my hand out the shot and this got very frustrating because on the app that I was using, you could not go back because it did not give you the option and the app only allows you to delete frames and not go back and add some more. Another problem that I faced was that my animation was short and I had to do many takes because I felt that most of the takes were too short and this meant that when it came to editing ,the video would be even shorter than it started out.
At some points of the production process I found things really easy such as getting the pictures . Another problem that I faced was I believed that I was not able to use clay for my idea because there was some faults to the computers because they were getting replaced so this meant that there was a delay to producing my product ,so I took some initiave and made sure that I still done my animation because something would have had to be done and handed in.
I decided to use my phone for I stop motion and I had to do this because using cut out animation is really easy to do and the software is easy to get your hands on so this means that this is the easy option. My final ident was very different because at first I was planning to use clay animation because I believed that that kind of ident would look way better than using stop motion and I had to resort to using a purple background and two boxing gloves and printed E4 signs.
I printed these out all in colour. I used a less advanced version to do my stop motion because that was the only way I could do my animation. When it came to editing , It was really simple because all I had to do is add a crowd sound effect with a punching sound effect and. All I had to do is sync the punching sounds to the two E4 signs so that my animation looks good.
If I could make the ident again I would get a substitute for a tripod so that my animation looks more professional and in the editing process I would other sound effects such as a WWE ring sound which allows the audience to hear when the fight in the idents starts. A future idea for the ident was to add a WWE bell sound because this is a well known sound and it is used when a fight starts.
Overall I believe that my ident went well but the only problem that I faced was technical faults such as not being able to get my video from my phone to edit.I was not able to get it off my phone so I had to create a new animation.Next time I will use a software on a computer which will be much easier to record the video.
