How digital photography is produced

How digital photography is produced

On all most common DSLR devices there are two modes and they are called manual mode and automatic mode. Manual mode allows you to set the ISO, shutter speed and aperture and I’m simple terms manual mode allows you to overexpose and under expose videos and pictures. The ISO is how sensitive the lens is toward light. The aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens. The shutter speed is the nominal time for which a shutter is open at a given setting. Automatic mode allows the camera to determine your surroundings and set the ISO, shutter speed and aperture on its own and the way how this works is that and with this mode you can’t under or over expose the footage. Talk about how auto works.

A viewfinder is what the cameraman looks through to see the projected image before it’s taken. There are many types of lenses and most DSLR come with standard kits such as Standard kit 18-55mm lens and this lens can pick up the humans viewing reach. Other examples of lenses are Fish eye lens which is used to capture things because it has a wide screen that can see everything, macro lens which is used to take picture of small things and show the target in detail and this lens also is very big in size compared to the fish eye and standard lens.

Aperture is measured in f stops and the lower the aperture the lower the light coming in and the higher the aperture the more light comes in. Shutter speed is the amount of time the camera exposed to light. Shutter speeds vary when it come to different types of photography because for general photography is 1/500th but for bird photography you use 1/1000th.

DSLR cameras normally hold a standard SD card but the storage of the memory card may vary between every device because most DSLR accept memory cards from 2gb to 64gb and with most DSLR you have to have external storage to save your footage otherwise the footage will be lost because it has nowhere to save. There are other types of memory cards such as a SDHC which allows the photo or video to be saved quickly on to the card which allows you to be fluid which capturing footage, a micro SD card is a small type of card which can’t fit into a normal slot of an DSLR camera so this means that tor the card it fit then it will need an adapter.

Almost all cameras have flash and flash is used in dark conditions to expose the target so that you can see the target. In photography there are two terms of exposure and they are called under and over exposure. Under exposure means that the target is barely visible but photographers say that an under exposed photo is better because you can still pick up detail from the photo and overexposed is when you can’t see anything because there is too much light in the image which causes the image to be bad and from this we can’t recover any detail because there is too much light. On DSLR cameras there are many light setting which you can choose before you take a picture and examples of these are tungsten, fluorescent, natural, artificial and these lights can make a big difference on your photos because using natural light and pre set light will give you a completely different image. White balance is in all cameras and white balance all depends of your surroundings and if you are I natural light then the picture will look normal but if you are in artificial light then the picture may look a little different because the picture could turn out yellow light the artificial light so to avoid a bad picture experienced photographers put a white sheet of paper in front of the camera so that the camera can reset itself to natural light and capture a good image. Image temperature is when a image looks warm or cold and in terms of warm, warm means if the picture looks yellow and in terms of cold means if the picture looks blue.

Dslr cameras have many variations of support such as having a gorilla pod, tripod and monopod. A gorilla pod is versatile because with a gorilla pod you can move the legs to capture footage a different and unique angles. Using a tripod, you can tilt and pan through recording videos and these two movements are usually used in video. A monopod is used for mobility because a monopod is just one stick that does not weigh a lot and also a monopod is attached to the camera so that you can do photography and video in different environments.

There are different types of file storage such as RAW, JPEG and RAW is a file that captures all the detail in the photo and this is used in events such as wedding days because they want their moments to be there forever.JPEG is a type of file that images deal with and JPEG is when you have a file but it is compressed because all the detail of the photo gets taken out. RAW files take up a lot more storage than JPEG files because the image has much more detail.JPEGs are usually used as the default file type because they are compatible on most devices and it can also be accessed be anything and thisfile type is very
